SiWell entstand im Sommer 2026, als ich ganz versunken in meinem Skizzenbuch ohne jegliche Intention vor mich hin kritzelte. Der Wellenstring als Startpunkt des Musters erinnert an MySwing, dann geht es aber viel einfacher und geruhsamer weiter- nur ein paar breite Auren- und im Zentrum jedes einzelnen Musterfragmentes bildet sich durch Abenden ("Rounding") wieder eine Kuller (was wieder an My Swing erinnert)

Vielleicht kann man es als kleine Schwester von MySwing bezeichnen!

 

Nachdem ich das Muster in der SimTangle Session Juli 2026 vorgestellt habe und die Teilnehmerinnen angetan waren von dem Muster, habe ich ihm einen Namen verpasst.

SiWell erinnert einerseits an Wellen (aus der deutschen Sprache) und andererseits aus well, was ja bekanntlich im Englischen für Wohlergehen steht. Das finde ich gerade richtig passend!

 

SiWell kann in den unterschiedlichsten Rastern gezeichnet werden- am besten gefällt es mir unregelmäßig, in einem Wellenraster. 
Die Auren sollten nicht zu schmal sein, sodass sie auch noch nach Belieben verziert werden können.

Die Abrundungen ("Roundings") in schwarz ergeben auf jeden Fall einen tollen Kontrast - nur MUT!!

SiWell can be drawn in a wide variety of grids – I like it best when it’s irregular, in a wavy grid. 

The auras shouldn’t be too narrow, so that they can still be decorated as you like.

The black ‘roundings’ definitely create a great contrast – just be brave!!
