Thema des Tages waren "Window Strings".
Ich habe diese Idee von Hanny Nura @zenjoy aufgegriffen. Sie hat 2019 auf ihrem Blog einige Ideen und Fragmente unter dem Titel "Zen Windows" oder auch "Window Strings" vorgestellt.
Mir hat diese Idee so gut gefallen, dass ich die Methode der Strings "ausgeliehen" habe und eigene Fenster gestaltet habe.
Dazu habe ich bereits im Mai 2022 einen Präsenzkurs in Dresden gehalten (siehe Blogbeitrag)
In dieser SimTangleSession habe ich die Grundidee der Fenster- Konstruktion vorgestellt und gezeigt, wie man aus simplen Fragmenten in einem Raster schöne Kirchenfenster konstruieren
kann.
Das gezeichnete Tile ist inspiriert von der Kathedrale in Quimper (Bretagne).
Im Zentrum der "Fenster" befindet sich das Fragment meines neuen Musters "FLORDELIS" - das Stepout findet sich momentan auf meiner Instagram Seite, wird aber demnächst auch hier auf meiner Website ergänzt.
Es war eine kleine Konzentrationsübung, und ich bin dieses Mal besonders glücklich über das Gruppenmosaik. Ich finde es grandios. Vielen Dank allen Teilnehmerinnen!

The theme of the day was "Window Strings".
I picked up this idea from Hanny Nura @zenjoy. She presented some ideas and fragments on her blog in 2019 under the title "Zen Windows" or "Window Strings".

In this SimTangleSession, I presented the basic idea of window construction and showed how you can construct beautiful stained glass windows from simple fragments in a grid.
The drawn tile is inspired by the cathedral in Quimper (Brittany).
In the center of the “windows” is the fragment of my new pattern “FLORDELIS” - the stepout can currently be found on my Instagram page, but will soon be added here on my website.
